Pregasol P

1. Description

PREGASOL P is a ready to use emulsion reclaimer for decoating of polymer-based direct emulsions and capillary films such as Diazo- and SBQ-sensitized emulsions. PREGASOL P is a odorless decoating paste for screens that require prolonged reaction time or where drying of liquid reclaimers is a concern.

Apply the PREGASOL P solution with a soft, clean brush evenly on both sides of the wet screen after the screen has been carefully cleaned of ink residue. Rub the screen gently with a brush to dissolve the emulsion.

After approximately 2 minutes, rinse thoroughly with a strong water spray. A high pressure water spray (1000 - 2000 psi, 40 - 60 bar) may be required for highly water resistant emulsions. Prolonged reaction times are possible and may help in the decoating process.

Ensure that the PREGASOL P solution does not dry on the screen. This can lead to a hardening of the emulsion and the resulting emulsion residues will be extremely difficult to remove.

PregaSOL P can be eliminated through biological decomposition in adapted waste water treatment plants. The working solution can generally be emptied into the drains. Consult local authorities for local regulations.
